Gracias a la incorporación de una autoclave de once metros y la gran experiencia tanto tecnológica como humana en la fabricación de materiales en carbono durante 30 años, ofrece un nuevo producto de alta calidad e inmejorables prestaciones.

The wise combination of layers of bidirectional carbon, both at 90 and 45 degrees, with biaxial and unidirectional pre-pegs makes possible the fabrication of masts with the selected bending curves.
The automatic control of pressure and temperature together with the accurate lay-up of the carbon fibres allows BIMmasts to produce masts which are exact copies of the prototype choosen for the setup of the sailplan.

All our composite products come from female moulds made from highly polished aluminium extrusions. Therefore our masts, beams and tubes show an excellent finish.

We produce a range of profiles (foils) necessary for our boats. These parts are mainly made of composite material, i.e., carbon fibre processed with epoxy resin or preimpregnated material depending on whether autoclaves are used or classical vacuum layering is adopted. These parts are prevalently rudders, daggerboards and masts, although smaller fittings and new parts are added each year.

Currently in fact, snuffers or spinnaker retriever poles and special internal hull inserts for structure rigidity are produced, plus others accessories are being studied.
